Venezuela and Bolivia review trade, political and social cooperation agenda

The Vice-minister for Latin America of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Rander Peña, met this Monday with the ambassador of the Plurinational State of Bolivia accredited to Venezuela, Sebastián Michel, with whom he reviewed the bilateral cooperation and solidarity agenda that both countries maintain in different spheres.

The Venezuelan diplomat pointed out that they also coordinated actions to continue strengthening the important bilateral relationship, such as the holding of the Bolivia-Venezuela Binational Mixed Commission, and reviewed the pending issues between the two nations, which include energy and educational matters.

During the meeting they also talked about the participation that Bolivia will have in the Bicentennial Congress of the Peoples of the World, which will take place in Venezuela between June 21 and 24, in the context of the commemoration of the 200 years of the Battle of Carabobo.

Venezuela y Bolivia estrechan cooperación en materia migratoria y consular

After the fracture that was generated during the de facto government that usurped power in Bolivia after the coup against Evo Morales in 2019, Venezuela and the Andean country, united by deep Bolivarian roots, resumed good diplomatic relations with the triumph of the president Luis Arce in 2020, which began with the reopening of the respective embassies in Caracas and La Paz.
