In order to boost tourism between the two nations, President Nicolás Maduro assured that Venezuela “already has the conditions” to increase weekly flights to Moscow.
The announcement was made at the Venezuela-Russia High-Level Intergovernmental Commission, which is being held in Caracas.
“We have the connection, and those who want to do tourism in Russia can go. Venezuela has received over 15,000 Russian tourists in the last two months. This will make tourism grow […] Tourism is growing,” said the Venezuelan president.
Likewise, Maduro said that he will soon provide further information on “direct, nonstop flights to Moscow to boost tourism.”
