In the Dominican Republic, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Félix Plasencia, met with his counterpart from the Kingdom of Spain, José Manuel Albares, with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in the multilateral sphere.
“We had a cordial working breakfast in Santo Domingo with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Spain, José Manuel Albares. It was a frank and sincere dialogue on how to strengthen our bilateral relations and deepen our cooperation in the multilateral field”, tweeted the Venezuelan Foreign Minister through his account @PlasenciaFelix.
Both diplomats coincide on the Caribbean island regarding the First Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs, in view of the XXVIII Ibero-American Summit, which will have as its motto “Together towards a just and sustainable Ibero-America”.
Also this week, Minister Plasencia held a meeting in Caracas with the Spanish Chargé d’Affaires to Venezuela, Ambassador Ramón Santos Martínez, recently appointed to this position, in order to “review the challenges of common interest and our extensive relationship in the bilateral and multilateral field”, he said through a message on the aforementioned social network.
