The People’s Power Minister for Tourism, Alí Padrón, installed an International Business Roundtable this Friday with the participation of more than 100 national and international tour operators.
Under the online mode, those attending this meeting exhibit their offers that allow the consolidation of receptive tourism.
During the presentation, the Minister thanked the multidisciplinary team of the Vice-ministry of International Tourism, which brings together important agents inherent to national and international tourism. He reiterated the reasons that the National Government has to continue exalting the beauties of Venezuela and show the world investment opportunities.
“As a challenge, we want to convince that we have great potential to advance as a multi-destination country in accordance with the Venezuela Country Brand. This is the beginning, together with the operator Venetur, of doing wonderful things”, expressed the sole tourism authority.
Padrón emphasized that these activities “help to dismantle the matrix of negative opinion that sectors of the opposition have propagated in the world. We are an inclusive, peaceful, hospitable and safe country”. He stated that tourism is a space for peace and love.
In this first meeting, the Vice-ministers of International Tourism, Works and Projects, Leticia Gómez Hernández and Braian Vargas, respectively, were also present. The intention is to boost cooperation with Latin American countries.
