This Friday, May 14, the People’s Power Minister for Tourism, Alí Padrón, chaired a meeting with the 90 tour operators of Russia, to establish strategies that optimize the operation in the tourism sector promoted by the Bolivarian Government in the face of the challenge of the pandemic facing the world.
In this regard, the Vice-minister for International Tourism, Leticia Gómez signed a service contract as General Sales Agent with the company Rutravel Business of the Russian Federation. This new agreement has the purpose of promoting offers of tourist services between both nations.
The new commercial alliance includes air tickets, accommodation, transportation, excursions, guide services, as well as other activities inherent to the sector that contribute to highlighting the country’s natural, cultural and historical attractions.
For her part, Anastasia Pirogova, director of Rutravel, expressed her satisfaction with the signing of this agreement that “… in addition to strengthening the ties of cooperation between two sister nations, allows the establishment of commercial alliances, under criteria of transparency, responsibility and quality of services among these companies”, she expressed.
At this event, the Ministers of Transportation and Higher Education Hipólito Abreu and César Trómpiz, respectively, were present. The president of Conviasa, Ramón Velásquez, also attended.
This initiative is aimed at strengthening Venezuela as a megadiverse country and boosting the Tourism Engine’s economy, along all the actors that make life in this important industry.
