This Thursday, the Vice-minister for Multilateral Issues of the People’s Power Ministry for Foreign Relations, Daniela Rodríguez, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Li Baorong.
The meeting served to review the work agenda held by Venezuela and China, framed in multilateral cooperation and strategic alliances between both countries, with the common vision of strengthening multilateralism.
The meeting was conducive to denounce “the politicized use and the intented interference against Venezuela, China and other countries through multilateral spaces aimed at preserving health and human rights”, said Vice-minister Daniela Rodríguez.
In this regard, both parties expressed their desire to strengthen initiatives such as the group of friends in defense of the United Nations Charter and the association of countries against unilateral coercive measures.
Vice-minister Rodríguez and the Chinese Ambassador also analyzed the different challenges that both countries have in multilateral matters.
