In order to strengthen the friendly relations of cooperation between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Plurinational State of Bolivia, Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza and President Luis Arce held a meeting on Friday night in La Paz.
The meeting took place in the context of the “Reencuentro con la Madre Tierra,” an event held on April 22 with the participation of important high-level authorities to raise awareness about the existing environmental crisis and create mechanisms to help stop the deterioration of ecosystems.
“Yesterday night, we were welcomed by brother President @LuchoXBolivia. We talked about our relations and the world leadership #Bolivia has recovered in the fight to stop climate change. I passed on President @NicolasMaduro fraternal hug and regards,” wrote the Venezuelan foreign minister on his Twitter account @jaarreaza.
The two authorities discussed the importance of the agreements resulting from this important international forum in the defense of the Pachamama.
Foreign Minister Arreaza and President Luis Arce also talked about the significance of Bolivia’s return to democracy, following the 2019 coup that overthrew Evo Morales.
