This Thursday, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, held a telematic meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Pham Binh.
During the videoconference, the authorities discussed the full reactivation of comprehensive cooperation between the two countries towards the celebration of the IV High Level Venezuela-Vietnam Mixed Commission.
The Vice-minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry, Rubén Darío Molina, also participated in the meeting.
Last September, the Governments of Venezuela and Vietnam held the VIII Meeting of Bilateral Political Consultations, in which they addressed the internal situation of each country and the international context in the face of the health crisis of COVID-19.
Currently, Caracas and Hanoi have cooperation agreements in the areas of energy, oil, agriculture, housing construction and culture.
