The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, on behalf of the Venezuelan Government and People, congratulates the brotherly People of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the impeccable, democratic and participatory development of the elections held yesterday June 18th, 2021, which culminated with the election of His Excellence Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, as the new elected President of the Persian nation, as well as the members of the Municipal Councils, the Parliament and the Assembly of Experts.
The election of His Excellency Seyed Ebrahim Raisi, a faithful representative of a brilliant generation that grew up and was forged by the Islamic Revolution, guarantees that Iran will remain free and sovereign and, despite the adversities imposed, it will continue to grow mightily.
Likewise, President Nicolás Maduro Moros expresses his deep appreciation to His Excellency Hassan Rouhaní, for his upright guidance of his people in recent years, consolidating independence, progress and the project of the Islamic Revolution in Iranian society, as well as for his leadership in the world, promoting respect for international law and fostering regional integration processes, by expanding solidarity, knowledge and equality among the Peoples of the world.
President-elect Ebrahim Raisi and the revolutionary People of Iran count on the unconditional support of President Nicolás Maduro Moros and the Bolivarian Revolution, to further deepen the union of both peoples and thus face the battlefor social justice, dignity and sovereignty in the future of this troubled world and continue advancing in the construction of a multipolar and multicentric world, necessary to defeat the hegemonic pretensions that today threaten multilateralism and peace on the planet.
