The Network of Solidarity with Venezuela in Puerto Rico released a statement regarding the attempted armed invasion of the Caribbean country, in which it repudiates this fascist action led by the United States government.

The Network of Solidarity with Venezuela in Puerto Rico repudiates the most recent attempt by fascist forces led by the United States government to violate Venezuelan sovereignty. At the same time, we congratulate the brave people of Venezuela for their triumph against the attempted military invasion of their homeland.
As the planet’s rational forces join efforts against the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, the United States presidency tries to hide its degenerate public health failure, guilty of tens of thousands of deaths of its own working class, launching a new stage in its campaign against the Bolivarian Revolution and its presidency determined by millions of votes in favor of comrade Nicolás Maduro Moros.
The Venezuelan victory against a right-wing military invasion in May of this year has confirmed that imperial power is defeasible by the unity of the peoples.
We must remember that these assaults against the Bolivarian Revolution are attacks against all Latin American peoples and are an inherent part of foreign policy emanating from Wall Street, irrespective of whoever occupies the Presidency of the United States.
From Puerto Rico we support our opposition to any type of intervention and war against Venezuela, against all territory of Our America and the planet.
Together, we reject once again the use of our nation to promote any aggression or intervention in the brother country.
Once again we call on our people not to allow the use of our territory to invade brother towns.
The empire is defeasible with the unity of the peoples.
Long live Bolivarian Venezuela!
