Positive cases of Covid-19 in Venezuela rise to 618

The number of Covid-19 infections in Venezuela increased to 618, after the diagnosis of 77 new cases in the last 24 hours. This was reported by the Executive Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, after holding a working day with the Presidential Commission for the Control and Prevention of Covid-19, at the Miraflores Palace, located in Caracas. The new infections are located in the states of Aragua, Lara, Zulia, Táchira, Guárico, Amazonas, Bolívar, Nueva Esparta, Miranda and La Guaira, and the Capital District. She explained that to date 253 people have been recovered. Venezuela has carried out 581 thousand 82 tests for the diagnosis of Covid-19, which represents 19 thousand 369 tests per million inhabitants. As for the control of the entry of Venezuelans through the borders,s he pointed out that more than 41 thousand 933 compatriots have returned to the nation, of whom 220 have been positive to Covid-19.
