The government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela highlights the need to inform the Venezuelan people and the international community on the persisting attacks by a group of satellite governments subordinate to the American imperialist plan which induce the obsessive objective of destabilizing Venezuela’s legitimate and democratic institutions.
The governments of Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Paraguay and Peru have been constantly issuing contradicting declarations and communiqués – one day saying something and the other saying the opposite – with regard to their peculiar interpretation of the Venezuelan legal system, seeking to illegally assume the power to determine the legitimacy of the Venezuelan institutions.
Beyond the lack of purpose of this procedure and its unacceptable lack of rigor and respect toward the international law, it is worrying to see such hesitant behavior in response to the US government’s rebuke against the mentioned governments for having rectified as requested by the Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros.
The governments involved still support their leader’s detrimental orders, aiming at causing internal political destabilization to justify the foreign intervention that has been unashamedly announced by American warmongering agents.
However, in spite of their detrimental intentions, the Venezuelan constitutional institutions remain in force thanks to the proper functioning of all its public powers, by constitutional mandate and not by the whim of these satellite governments. For this reason, the government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will continue to carefully analyze the hostile positions of these governments and take measures to guarantee the protection of the State and its institutions, in defense of the Republic and the national sovereignty and in accordance with the unwavering order of its unique commander: the Bolivarian Constitution of 1999.
