The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Moros, expresses his unconditional solidarity and condolences to the brotherly People and Government of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, in light of the devastating aftermath of Hurricane Dorian that affected the region comprising the Abaco Island and Grand Bahama Island, north of the Bahamas, and caused at least the painful death of one person and heavy material losses.
The Bolivarian Government of Venezuela, faithful to its humanitarian tradition of fraternal accompaniment of the Caribbean peoples, offers its immediate support to the people and institutions of the Bahamas in order to assist this brotherly people with all the available resources in such difficult circumstances.
