President Putin reaffirms the unrestricted support of the Russian Federation to his counterpart Nicolás Maduro

Today, the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, received a phone call from the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, to address some issues related to the national and international political situation. President Putin reaffirmed Russian Federation’s unreserved support to President Nicolás Maduros’s Government, in the framework of the strictest respect toward national sovereignty and the principle of non intervention in our internal affairs, condemning any violent attempt to break the constitutional order and peace in Venezuela. The Head of States talked about the good progress of the bilateral cooperation, highlighting their willingness to further deepen the strategic level of the relations between both nations, in 2019. President Nicolás Maduro thanked President Putin for his strong support and also assured that the Bolivarian Government will always defend and ensure peace, prosperity and independence of the Venezuelan People.
