Venezuela strongly rejects illegal coercive measures announced by EEUU that impact the Bandes

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela strongly rejects the unilateral, arbitrary and illegal coercive measures announced by the supremacist government of Donald Trump, that impact the Bank of Economic and Social Development of Venezuela (Bandes, in its Spanish acronym) and four (4) important Venezuelan financial institutions and Venezuelan capital, with the intention of cutting off the right of Venezuelan women and men to their integral development and the sustainability of their national and international financial system. This attack that directly infringe upon the heart of the finances of the Venezuelan people, demonstrates the imperial hypocrisy, which offers in a misleading manner a false humanitarian aid, while attacking the sources of generation of Venezuelan resources through direct sanctions against PDVSA and Minerven; and now against the national financial circuit, with the intention of preventing the materialization of the social and productive plans promoted by the public and private economic agents of the country. This illegal coercive measure affects more than 23 million 950,280 clients (natural persons and public and private companies) within the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela; also aimed to the two main commercial banks, the Bank of Venezuela (Banco de Venezuela) and the People, Working Class, Women and Communes’ Bicentennial Bank (Banco Bicentenario del Pueblo, de la Clase Obrera, Mujer y Comunas). The measure also directly affects citizens of brother countries of the continent, by targeting Prodem Bank in Bolivia and Bandes Uruguay Bank, with more than 641,366 clients. The People and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela will remain firm in the defense of their independence and political, economic and cultural sovereignty. No desperate supremacist action, contrary to the Purposes and Principles of the Charter of the United Nations, will succeed in breaking the will of the Venezuelan people, heir to the anti-imperialist struggles of the Liberator Simon Bolivar.
