Venezuela’s Vice-minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania, Rubén Darío Molina, held on Tuesday a working meeting with the Ambassador from the Republic of Indonesia to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Imam Edy Mulyono.
At the meeting, the diplomats discussed the cooperation agenda in areas such as politics, diplomacy, economy and trade, within the framework of the Bolivarian Diplomacy of Peace and the strengthening of alliances with the ASEAN member states.
“Our relations become stronger and we are going to continue holding these meetings and setting up roadmaps,” said Molina.
They also reviewed and committed to the agreements their countries have signed so far, and discussed the Anti-Blockade Law for National Development and the Guarantee of Human Rights, recently passed by the National Constituent Assembly. Currently,
Venezuela and Indonesia share cooperation projects in areas such as the agri-food industry, energy, mining, tourism, agriculture, the pharmaceutical industry and chemistry, among others, as well as other initiatives of exchange in line with the ASEAN member countries.
