President Maduro: The European Union is stuck to the tail of Donald Trump

With the one-year extension of unilateral coercive measures against Venezuela, the European Union (EU) demonstrated that it is “stuck to the tail of Donald Trump”, the main promoter of the interventionist policy in Latin America.

The words correspond to the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, who pointed out that this illegal action, which includes a ban on the entry of thirty Venezuelan officials, denotes a “ruthless” practice against Venezuela.

“The European Union remained stuck to the tail of Donald Trump and, automatically, continues with its cruel, ruthless and failed policy against Venezuela”, he stressed during the inauguration of the XVI International Book Fair of Venezuela (Filven 2020).

From La Casona Cultural “Aquiles Nazoa”, located in the state of Miranda, he pointed out that the European bloc does not understand that “Venezuela is a vigorous, democratic and constitutionalist country”, which is why the pressure on the eve of the parliamentary elections of December 6.

Media campaign against Venezuela

Through a videoconference with the Spanish political scientist Arantxa Tirado, he denounced the “brutal” media campaign that is being developed from Spain against Venezuela.

Although it is “a tremendous war”, he indicated that this scenario “opens the possibility for a debate so that the message of humanism, of socialism of the XXI century can arrive.”

Bolivarian Revolution impacts the struggling Colombian people

The Colombian journalist Hernando Calvo Ospina, celebrated the Venezuelan initiative to develop this literary meeting even in times of the imperial economic blockade.
