The Executive Vice-president of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held on Thursday an important videoconference with the Network of Intellectuals and Artists in Defense of Humanity in order to explain the foundations of the Anti-Blockade Law for National Development and the Guarantee of Human Rights, recently approved by the National Constituent Assembly (ANC) in defense of the people.
During this meeting, Rodríguez emphasized the unilateral and coercive measures imposed by the United States Government against the Venezuelan people, with the aim of stealing the wealth of the people and destroying the socialist model promoted by the Bolivarian Revolution.
In this sense, she stressed that despite the criminal, economic and financial blockade against Venezuela, the Bolivarian Government continues to guarantee its inclusion and social protection model.
The Executive Vice-president ratified that in the face of the genocidal imperial aggression against the country, President Maduro presented this legal mechanism that will allow to counteract the effects of the financial blockade and stimulate economic activity, for the benefit of all the Venezuelan people.
