Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs, Jorge Arreaza, held a meeting on Thursday with Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Andrew Keith Soper.
At the meeting, they discussed the development of bilateral relations and the Anti-Blockade Law for National Development and the Guarantee of Human Rights, which was recently passed by the National Constituent Assembly.
This legal instrument “is a necessary legal response of the Venezuelan State, in perfect harmony with international laws, that will enable the creation of new mechanisms to improve the nation’s income and generate rational and appropriate incentives, under flexible controls, to boost the domestic economic activity and create productive alliances through foreign investment, favoring the country’s development,” said recently President Nicolás Maduro.
On October 13, the Anti-Blockade Law for National Development and the Guarantee of Human Rights was presented by Vice-president Delcy Rodríguez and Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza to the diplomatic corps to Venezuela and Venezuela’s representation overseas.
