Vice-president El Aissami: Energy cooperation between Iran and Venezuela aims at the integral development of both nations
The Sector Vice-president of the Economic Area, Tareck El Aissami, reported this Saturday that energy cooperation between the Republic of Venezuela and the Islamic Republic of Iran aims at comprehensive development for the benefit of the peoples of both nations.
“On behalf of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and all of Venezuela, we salute and welcome ships from the Islamic Republic of Iran, close to arriving at the ports of our homeland. This energy cooperation aims at comprehensive development for the benefit of our peoples”, he wrote this Saturday in his account on the social network Twitter @TareckPsuv.
The also People’s Power Minister for Petroleum of Venezuela, stressed that energy cooperation between Iran and our country “is based on scientific exchange and the productive development of the hydrocarbon industry, in addition to the experience that unites us as OPEC countries”.
Within the framework of cooperation and trade agreements between Iran and Venezuela, the arrival of the first of five Iranian vessels, loaded with fuel to supply the nation amid the illegal economic sanctions imposed by the United States, is expected in the next few hours.
