French union UFIR-CGT condemns US attacks against Venezuela

The Union Regional Ile-de-France syndicate of the General Confederation of Labor (UFIR-CGT) issued a statement to denounce the new mercenary and terrorist aggression of the United States against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and express its support for the people and Venezuelan government. In the statement, the UFIR-CGT union also calls on the French government to “cease its support for the imperialist policy led by Donald Trump”, and calls for “the lifting of sanctions and other measures taken against Venezuela”, especially in the current context of the Covid-19 global pandemic.
