So far, a total of 23 terrorists have been captured by the Sstate security forces as a result of their participation in the failed maritime incursion in Venezuela, registered in La Guaira and Aragua states.
The balance was offered by the Vice-president of Communication, Culture and Tourism, Jorge Rodríguez, who stressed that the arrest of the mercenaries took place thanks to “the perfect civic-military-police synchrony”, added to the investigations of the National Government.
He indicated that the testimonies of the convicts confirm that the Donald Trump administration is responsible for the events that occurred on Sunday, May 3 and Monday, May 4, a participation that is already leading the investigations of the United States Congress (USA), according to information reported by The Associated Press (AP).
“The line of how (Jordan Goudreau) bought the weapons and took them to Colombia, how the contacts with Mike Pence and how it was that Trump did not know about this incursion if two members of the Special Forces, who were also direct security advisers of the president of the United States, were the organizers and coaches?”, questioned Rodríguez.
From the Miraflores Palace, located in Caracas, he pointed out that the responsibility of the extreme right, led by Juan Guaidó, is also established in the terrorist maneuver and with Colombian drug traffickers.
In this sense, Rodríguez explained that the payment agreed between the extreme right and the drug traffickers was to establish “safe routes” for the development of their criminal operations.
