Venezuela has received more than 10,000 compatriots from the border area of the Táchira state
To date, Venezuela has received 10,931 compatriots from the border area of the Táchira state.
The information was released by the Executive Secretary of the Somos Venezuela Movement, Melvin Maldonado, during a satellite link made on the occasion of a health day led by the president, Nicolás Maduro, from the Government Palace.
Maldonado highlighted that Venezuelans who have returned to the nation have been treated at all medical, civil and security checkpoints and have been included in the social protection system through the Plan de la Patria.
He added that a total of 8 thousand 251 compatriots have returned to their respective states.
In this context, the Venezuelan Head of Sstate, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his outrage at the xenophobia and the persecution suffered by Venezuelans in the New Granada nation, where they paid exorbitant figures just to live in places.
“I hope they are incorporated productively and positively into the social life of Venezuela”, said the Dignitary.
