President Maduro grateful for international support and solidarity

“We are still receiving messages of solidarity and international support from around the world, but the most important thing beyond that solidarity and international support is us, Venezuela,” stressed President Nicolás Maduro Sunday, March 12, at the Miraflores Presidential Palace during a meeting with is government staff. The Venezuelan president addressed some words to thank his government for its efforts, and he stressed that they “have worked hard to keep this quarantine with the conscience of families” during this battle against COVID-19. “With the country’s superior conscience, collective will and efforts,” he said on the eve of the fifth week of quarantine.
