World legal community requests the US to cease military deployment in Venezuela

The legal community of the world sent this Monday a letter to the United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and to members of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations requesting the cessation of the military deployment in Latin America and an end to the siege on Venezuelan maritime borders. Through the letter, the US government is also urged to promote solidarity in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, and to stop war strategies against Latin American and Caribbean countries.
