Venezuelan diplomatic missions offer phone, online services amid COVID-19 contingency

Diplomatic missions of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in around 29 countries, including Canada, Germany, Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, the United Kingdom, Chile, Peru, Surinam, Jordan, Lebanon, Philippines, Malaysia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Ecuador and Panama have joined the coronavirus (COVID-19) contingency across the world. The Venezuelan consulates have reduced to a minimum their service to the public by only offering phone and online (via e-mail) services. This measure is in line with the commitment and discipline assumed by the Venezuelan state to guarantee the health condition of workers and Venezuelans who go to their consulates. According to the situation of each country facing this pandemic, other appropriate preventative and containment measures will be taken in the rest of the Venezuelan diplomatic missions.
