Vice-president Rodriguez: Trump has failed in his plan to take our homeland
“On January 23, the United States project to rob Venezuela began, and today, December 16, 2019 we can tell Donald Trump that he has failed in his plan to take our homeland”, said the Executive Vice-president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, before the National Constituent Assembly, during the presentation of the Budget for Fiscal Year 2020.
The Vice-president said that on January 23 of this year, with the unconstitutional self-proclamation of Deputy Juan Guaidó, a historical event that marked a new stage in the defense of the Bolivarian Revolution, the Venezuelan people and the territorial and moral integrity of Venezuela took place.
In this regard, she stressed that the Venezuelan right “has taken off its masks and reveals its shameless plan. Venezuela has great wealth and that was what they agreed with the government of the United States, selling the country and leaving aside the political plan of Bolivar”.
She added that the looting of the nation began when a Venezuelan sector decided to agree on the delivery of Venezuela’s natural resources to Washington, “The historical reasons for what is expressed today, in more intense and direct economic actions, is the sample of the shameless plan of the Venezuelan right, ready for everything”.
Finally, she highlighted the work of President Nicolás Maduro, who – in the midst of the aggressions and the siege – designed a program for the economic recovery and prosperity of Venezuela.
