President Maduro closes the XV International Book Fair Venezuela

The head of State and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, arrives at the headquarters of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry to lead the events on the occasion of the closure of the XV International Book Fair Venezuela (Filven) 2019. This Fair started on November 7 in the historic center of ​​the Venezuelan capital, when tribute was paid to the illustrious poet, columnist and winner of the 2010-2012 National Prize for Literature, Luis Alberto Crespo, with the slogan «Reading it’s life”. Filven 2019 was carried out within the framework of the forty-fifth anniversary of the binational relations between the People’s Republic of China and Venezuela, as a sign of the close and solid alliance of respect, cooperation and integration between the two nations. On this occasion, more than 200 national and international publishers focused on this cultural festival, where various activities were also developed, including conferences, forums, workshops, film screening, theater and more.
