Venezuela studies routes to increase tourism cooperation with Jordan

In order to explore routes to increase cooperation in tourism and commercial matters between Jordan and Venezuela, the People’s Power Minister for Tourism and Foreign Trade, Felix Plasencia, arrived in Amman, capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. “Our visit to Jordan has the objective of attending to the cordial invitation that the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities of Jordan extended to us. As well as to explore the possible routes to increase cooperation in tourism and commercial matters between Jordan and Venezuela, in favor of the development of our peoples”, the Venezuelan Minister published in his Twitter social network account. Upon his arrival in the Arab nation, Plasencia was received by the Venezuelan ambassador to Jordan Omar Vielma; the secretary general of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, Emad Hijazin and the director of the Jordan Tourism Board, Abdelrazaq Arabyatt. This week, the Minister of Tourism, together with the Venezuelan delegation, offered Venezuelan tourism promotions in the fifth edition of Hospitality Qatar. He also met with the Secretary General of the National Tourism Council and representatives of the Qatar Airways airline, Akbar Al Baker, with the intention of evaluating cooperation and investment proposals between the two nations for the development of the Tourism Engine in the Caribbean country.
