Preparatory meetings for the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela begin
The People’s Power Minister for Tourism and Foreign Trade, Félix Plasencia, held on Wednesday a first meeting with entrepreneurs from the public and private sector in order to establish strategies focused on the route of the International Tourism Fair of Venezuela (Fitven), in its fourteenth edition.
This year the Fitven will be held in the state of La Guaira, regarding the tourist potential of its coastline. At present, its beaches and spas, in addition to the service provided, continue to be the first option for domestic tourism. Likewise, its proximity to the Maiquetía International Airport “Simón Bolívar”, contributes to the economic growth of the entity.
“Our spirit is to build a virtuous dynamic to continue promoting Venezuela”, said Plasencia, who also invited all the actors in the tourism sector to participate in this event. Once again, the majesty of Venezuela’s attractions and investment opportunities will be reflected in the Fitven.
The attending businessmen agreed in their interest to contribute to highlight the tourism and foreign investment opportunities platform that Venezuela has.
The XIV International Tourism Fair of Venezuela is aimed at bringing together the most important tour operators and national and international investors who bet on this Caribbean nation and who promote in the world the exuberant beauties that make this country a mega-diverse destination.
