Socialist missions are the bastion of the Bolivarian Revolution
The National System of Missions, Great Missions and Socialist Micro Missions have become the greatest strength of the Bolivarian Revolution to provide comprehensive protection to the Venezuelan people, said the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
During an interview with the Conversing with Correa program, the Head of State said that these programs, implemented since 2013, have allowed to continue protecting the people in fundamental areas such as food, health and social security against the constant economic attacks of the US government on the country.
“Without the missions and large missions that address food, housing construction, public health, pensions, without that comprehensive model of care, Donald Trump’s economic war would have had a devastating effect on the social stability and life of our people”, he pointed out.
From the Miraflores Palace, he mentioned that the Bolivarian Revolution instituted a system of protection in which the wealth of the nation is distributed with social equality as a protective shield against the onslaught of the financial and commercial blockade, where food and people’s health were established as a priority.
