Latin American leaders pay tribute to Commander Chávez

Several important leaders of Latin America celebrated on July 28 the 65th birthday of Commander Hugo Chávez, the founding and historical leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

It is worth mentioning that the legacy he left has among his priorities the beginning of the multipolar and multicultural world that terrifies the US imperial power.

The struggle that he idealized was a source of inspiration for many Latin American and world peoples with which they dared to rise against imperial aggressions. Today his thinking is more active than ever, despite the right-wing onslaught to seize the wealth of the most vulnerable.

In November 2009, Chavez said: «The role of the people of Venezuela has been decisive in the awakening of South America, that’s why they attack us with such viciousness and try to demonize us before the world».
