Based on the permanent search for instances of exchange and coexistence, the Bolivarian Government assumes the immense desire of the people of Venezuela – beyond the political positions that every person legitimately plays – to defend their independence and sovereignty, and to settle our social and political issues in strict adherence to democratic norms and to our Constitution, highlights the statement.
The talks between the government delegation and opposition representatives began on May 14 in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, where several meetings were held between the parties.
