Plan Vuelta a la Patria adds another 90 returnees from Brazil
On a new day of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria, 90 Venezuelan returned to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela from the city of Boa Vista, in the Federative Republic of Brazil.
The nationals, among them more than 30 pregnant women, 7 adolescents, 6 girls and 4 boys, were received in Santa Elena de Uairén – Venezuelan city bordering Brazil – by a committee made up of various institutions of the Venezuelan State.
“The Plan Vuelta a la Patria is again present in the responsibilities of the Bolivarian Revolution, which is to serve the Venezuelan people, we are proud to contribute to this great work that is the Plan Vuelta a la Patria”, said the Venezuelan consul in Boa Vista, Faustino Torella.
The diplomat stressed that during the transfer and upon the arrival in the country, the nationals received the required attention, especially the necessary medical assistance.
Consul Torella added that the Governor of the Bolívar state, in the south of the country, has guaranteed the logistics and arranged the means to transport them to their places of origin.
Since its launch in August 2018, the Plan Vuelta a la Patria has facilitated the return to Venezuela of 14,611 nationals from Brazil, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Chile, Panama and Uruguay.
