The National Government has reiterated its thanks to the government of Norway after reaffirming its commitment to work for a peaceful solution to the Venezuelan situation, following a statement issued on Wednesday, May 29. Foreign Minister Arreaza and Envoy of the EU discuss dialogue process in Oslo
The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, and the envoy on behalf of the European Union for Venezuela, Enrique Iglesias, held an important telephone conversation on Friday, which reported on the progress made in the dialogue with the Venezuelan opposition from Oslo, Norway.
“We had a cordial telephone conversation with the EU envoy for Venezuela. We remember his links with the country; we inform him about the process in Oslo”. This was notified by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister through his Twitter account @jaarreaza.
The People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, on behalf of the Bolivarian Government, invited Iglesias to visit Venezuela. “We extended the invitation of President Nicolás Maduro for him to visit us as soon as possible”.
