Government activated comprehensive care plan to protect the victims of economic war
In order to protect the entire Venezuelan people and respond to the economic blockade imposed by the administration of Donald Trump against Venezuela, the government of President Nicolás Maduro Moros, activated a plan of comprehensive care to protect the victims of the economic war, which will be based on the tools provided by the socialist system of attention to the population, informed María Rosa Jiménez, Executive Secretary of Somos Venezuela Movement.
During her participation in a special program held in Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), Jiménez explained that this new stage consists on a phase of integration and reorganization of the social programs of the Revolutionary Government expressed in the system of Missions and Great Missions, which they materialize through Missions Bases, Food Houses, among others.
To this purpose, Jiménez indicated that jointly, the Somos Venezuela Movement, the People’s Power Ministry of Planning and the Patria System will articulate their infrastructure to implement new work schemes that allow raising information regarding the attention capacities of the different social programs.
The Secretary of the Somos Venezuela Movement said that this new methodology aims to “prevent the blockade, that limits access to resources, goods and essential services, impact on the population” that is protected by the social policies implemented by the national Executive.
This plan started this Saturday at the Missions Base of Veguita-Macaracuay located in Caracas, where the sectoral Vice president of Planning, Ricardo Menéndez, said that this program aims to defend the model driven by the Bolivarian Revolution.
“All the development and inclusion achieved by the Bolivarian Revolution is the target of the war that has been undertaken by US imperialism to attack the people and undermine the social bases of the country”, he said.
