US social movements make up Anti Sanctions Committee in rejection of the economic blockade against Venezuela

Given the growing pressure of the illegal blockade of the Trump administration, it is necessary to create spaces for dialogue, with this premise the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Jorge Arreaza, participated this Thursday in a solidarity meeting in “The People’s Forum”, in rejection of the inhuman sanctions applied against the Venezuelan people. The debate brought together representatives of the working class and communities belonging to this political, social, educational and cultural space that seeks to develop ideas for collective action. In this sense, “The People Forum” said that in the next few days an Anti Sanctions Committee will be formed to denounce and reject the economic policies applied against Venezuela by US imperialism. The space for discussion allowed the Venezuelan diplomat to expose the cruel consequences of this induced war that aims to destroy the Venezuelan people with the application of unilateral coercive measures, sabotage to public services and illegal actions that violate International Law, the Charter of Nations United and that represent a threat to the peace of the region. In order to deepen the debate and dialogue, the People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations also explained the efforts undertaken by the Bolivarian Government to defend the right of the Homeland of Bolivar to be free and sovereign before a US empire that has the regrettable and obscure trajectory in military, diplomatic and information wars. At the same time, he thanked the diverse manifestations of solidarity on the part of the American people and their support in the anti-imperialist struggle.
