President announced major mobilizations for March 8 and 9

Major mobilizations for March 8 and 9 announced the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, in addition to point out that in this month (March) the people of Venezuela will be on the streets fighting. It will be “March of mobilization, consciousness, work and national unity”, said the head of State and Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, who called the people to be in the streets in constant battle against imperialism. In this regard, he explained: “The next March 8 is the women’s day, important announcements I will make and there is a great mobilization of Venezuelan women (…) And I decreed March 9 as the Bolivarian anti-imperialism’s day and we’ll go to the streets on March 9, to anti-imperialist marches, to commemorate the Bolivarian anti-imperialism’s day, the people to the combat, March 9 the people on the street”, he said. About the mobilization of March 9, he said it will be a great march, remembering that 4 years will be fulfilled since that infamous decree was imposed by the former president of the United States of America Barak Obama, who declared Venezuela as an unusual and extraordinary threat to the security of the North American country. President Maduro said that it is a fair defense of history and also called for the national union to defend the homeland. “Union with wisdom and intelligence (…) we can not fall into provocations ever, let them continue with their boys’ game, here we stand, with the homeland, with the people” he said. He also affirmed that the best way to honor Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez is to maintain the permanent battle to defeat imperialism and the oligarchy. “If today we could ask Commander Chávez what is the best way to remember him, he would tell us, if you want to do some homage that I do not deserve – he would say with humility – stay in the fight, stay in the street, in front of imperialism and the oligarchy, defeat imperialism and the oligarchy and it will be the best tribute for Hugo Chávez Frías”, he concluded.
