Social movements in New York express their support for the Bolivarian Revolution

This afternoon, various organizations and social movements in the United States mobilized through the streets of Wall Street in New York, in support of the Revolution and the Constitutional President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros. The different groups expressed their overwhelming rejection of the interventionist policies and the continuous aggressions that the Trump government exercises against the Caribbean nation. This was reported by the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Jorge Arreaza, through his Twitter account @jarreaza. At the beginning of February, the president, Nicolás Maduro Moros, addressed a letter to the American people, advocating for peace between both nations and asking citizens to demonstrate against the interventionist measures openly proposed by Donald Trump. It should be noted that FM Arreaza is in the United Nations (UN) developing an extensive work agenda that seeks to deepen cooperation relations with the multilateral organization. The Diplomat also met with the group recently created and composed of 60 States that will advocate for the defense of the sovereignty of its members and will bet for a peaceful solution in Venezuela within the framework of international law and respect for the self-determination of the peoples as established in the Charter of the United Nations.
