Another 250 nationals return to Venezuela from Brazil with the Plan Vuelta a la Patria
On Tuesday, the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela facilitated the return to the country of 250 Venezuelans from the northern state of Roraima, in the Federative Republic of Brazil, through the Plan Vuelta a la Patria.
The compatriots, according to their testimonies, were being victims of xenophobia and violence; They were also threatened with firearms by Brazilian citizens.
With these 250 the number of Venezuelan citizens who have decided to voluntarily take the Plan Vuelta a la Patria from Brazil amounts to 6,663.
Since the end of August, this process of repatriation conceived by President Nicolás Maduro has facilitated the return to Venezuela to more than 8,800 nationals from different nations of the region, mainly from Brazil, Peru and Ecuador.
