The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, held on Wednesday at the Miraflores Palace, a meeting with various representatives of the General Assembly of the United Nations (UN), where they discussed issues concerning common projects, as well as the 2030 sustainable development agenda.
The event was broadcast through the Twitter account of the Venezuelan leader @NicolasMaduro.

Likewise, after the meeting’s conclusion in the Office I of Miraflores, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, said:
“We have met with all the representatives of the United Nations System, with its regional coordinator Peter Grohman, and we also recalled, on the UN 73rd anniversary, that if we, the193 countries that are part of the United Nations respect its precepts, its principles, its purposes and the laws that rises from multilateralism, the world would be a paradise”.
The Vice President added that they have discussed the cooperation projects that exist with the United Nations in the areas of education, health, environment, food and housing. As well as the implementation of the Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 through the Plan de la Patria 2019-2025.
Similarly, the regional coordinator of the United Nations (UN) Office in Venezuela, Peter Grohmann, thanked the reception by President Maduro and noted that Venezuela has taken sustainable development and its 17 objectives as a reference in all areas.
