Ambassador of Turkey in Venezuela meets with the vice president of the Economic Area Tareck El Aissami
The vice president of the Economic Area, Tareck El Aissami, held a meeting on Wednesday with the ambassador of the Republic of Turkey, Şevki Mütevellioğlu, with the aim of strengthening trade and economic relations between the two nations.
The work meeting that took place at the headquarters of the People’s Power Ministry of Industry and National Production had the objective to strengthen the agreements signed on May 17, by the presidents of Venezuela and Turkey, Nicolás Maduro and Recep Tayyip Erdogan who committed themselves to strengthening the commercial and economic relationship for the benefit of the peoples.
With the activation of these agreements, the aim is to strengthen the mining, agriculture, petrochemical, industrial and technological sectors of both countries.
The bilateral relations between Ankara and Caracas, which were signed since 1999 with the arrival of President Hugo Chávez to the Presidency of the Republic, are part of the multicentric and pluripolar policy that seeks the development of countries based on respect for sovereignty and no foreign intervention.
