On Tuesday at the headquarters of the People’s Power Ministry for Industries and National Production, the Vice President of the Economic Area Tareck El Aissami, meets with His Excellency Mr. Vladimir Zaemskiy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to review cooperation projects between both nations.
In the framework of the Recovery, Growth and Economic Prosperity Plan, Russia and Venezuela evaluated the progress of the projects registered in the High Level Intergovernmental Commission (CIAN) that cover areas such as food and economic exchange.
The People’s Power Minister for Economy and Finance, Simón Zerpa, and the Vice-minister for Europe, Yván Gil, were present at the working meeting.
Since the arrival of the Bolivarian Revolution, in 1999, Venezuela and Russia have strengthened their relations, and since then both countries have more than 261 agreements signed in the agricultural, oil, gas, industrial, and military sectors, among others.
