The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Suriname ratified the common disposition to continue strengthening their ties of friendship and bilateral cooperation, during the meeting held on Tuesday by the foreign ministers of both nations, Jorge Arreaza and Ylidz Pollack-Beighle, respectively.
The diplomatic meeting took place at the headquarters of the United Nations Organization in New York, where the 73rd Session of the General Assembly of the multilateral organization is held.
Last March, Venezuela and Suriname held in Caracas the IX Joint Commission for Cooperation between both nations, which led to the signing of new complementarity agreements in different areas.
FM Arreaza highlighted, on that occasion, that both nations already have a plan of actions with scheduled meetings, and that besides of the diplomatic, economic, commercial, energy and social agreements, other where reached in the area of farming.
