Venezuela has a wide experience in planning and developing electoral processes, and it is a model in the world in organizing elections with civility, tranquility and peace, said Christian Rodríguez, a French international observer who witnessed the regional and municipal elections in different voting centers of the country on Sunday, November 21.
The 300 international observers “are glad to see the high level of efficiency of the National Electoral Council’s and its voting system.
Likewise, Salvadorian Eugenio Chicas, from the Council of Electoral Experts of Latin America, highlighted the reliability of the Venezuelan electoral system. “They’ve held 20 elections in 22 years in a road; therefore, we’re talking about a very strong, highly developed technological system.”
Chicas stressed that the Venezuelan people are exercising their right to vote in a calm, civic atmosphere, in comparison to other countries where murders of candidates have been registered during campaigns.
