Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia said in an interview with Russia’s RT that on November 21, Venezuela has a new date with the construction of peace in an electoral process to choose governors, mayors and council members.
In this regard, Plasencia pointed out that the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela establishes “the paths to guarantee the encounter among Venezuelans […] We have an active National Assembly. It is not a center of power to destabilize the government anymore.”
The Venezuelan foreign minister also referred to the electoral accompaniment of international organizations, and said that the participation of the European Union has been agreed on a document that’s been signed. “We hope there isn’t any violation of this agreement as it is a serious, formal document with international value for a sovereign State and the 27 member countries that comprise the European Union,” stressed Plasencia.
