The People’s Power Minister for Foreign Relations, Félix Plasencia, regretted that the President of the Republic of Colombia, Iván Duque, does not respect the division of powers and blocks the attempts of the Colombian legislature to approach the Venezuelan legislature.
“The violation of the division of powers by Mr. Duque is true and forceful”, he said during a press conference held with his counterpart Sergei Lavrov, in the city of Moscow.
Likewise, he deplored that the New Grenadian Executive interferes in the disposition of its parliament to establish a bilateral commission for the normalization of diplomatic and commercial relations with Venezuela.
“We regret, those who respect freedom, sovereignty and the principles that defend democracy in the world, that the Republic of Colombia does not allow our legislative powers to integrate and recognize each other to help the people”, he lashed out.
