President Maduro asigns César Trómpiz as Venezuela’s ambassador to Bolivia

During the meeting with heads of Educational Zones and the start of the 2021-2022 school year, this Tuesday the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros, appointed César Trómpiz as the country’s new ambassador to the Plurinational State of Bolivia, replacing Alexander Yánez, who assumes the leadership of the Venezuelan Diplomatic Mission in the Republic of Peru.

Trómpiz comes from serving as People’s Power Minister for University Education, after occupying the position of rector of the Bolivarian University of Venezuela (UBV).

He is a lawyer, graduated from the UBV. He also served as president of the Gran Mariscal de Ayacucho Foundation (Fundayacucho); and held the position of Vice-minister of Agenda and Presidential Advisory of the Ministry for the Office of the Presidency and Follow-up of Government Management.
