In order to strengthen cooperation at the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Venezuela’s Foreign Minister Félix Plasencia held a cordial meeting with his Libyan counterpart, Najla Al-Mangoush.
At the meeting, the two diplomats reviewed issues related to boosting Venezuela’s and other South American countries’ relations with Arab countries.
The meeting took place in New York, where the foreign ministers participate in the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly.
Currently, Venezuela and Libya share the principles of the Charter of the United Nations to strengthen friendly ties.
