The Foreign Ministers of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the Republic of Belarus, Félix Plasencia y Vladimir Makei, held a meeting on Thursday at the new Venezuelan permanent mission at the United Nations on the occasion of the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly.
At the meeting, the two diplomats reviewed issues related to their mutual cooperation in the bilateral and multilateral fields.
Also, they assessed different areas of interest to strengthen high-level diplomatic relations.
Since 2006, thanks to the governments of Commander Hugo Chávez and President Aleksandr Lukashenko, Venezuela and Belarus have developed a strategic bilateral, cooperation relation in different areas, including industry, oil and housing, giving way to the creation of different joint ventures.
